The Holiday Lodge 'Shalom
Your holiday Lodge 'Shalom' is situated on Limefitt Park. It is surrounded by
Lakeland fells, which are directly accessable from the Lodge.
Limefitt Park is a peaceful park, tranquil, with a feeling of remoteness,
even though only 2 miles away from Windermere Town Centre.
The Troutbeck runs gently across the park and opens out into a lovely
rockpool, which is save for children to swim and play in.
 The Lodge is situated on a little lane called 'Applesthwaite', and has all the comforts of modern living with double glazing, central heating and a fireplace with log effect electric fire. The kitchen is well equiped with gas hob, electric oven, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and microwave, as well as a coffee machine to keep your coffee hot while relaxing in the Lounge, which has TV, Video, DVD, as well as radio/cassette with CD player. There are many videos, DVDs and books to choose from, as well as games for the young and old.
The dining area has a large table with 6 chairs overlooking the veranda and beyond to the fells. The bedrooms are compact, but comfortable, with the main bedroom having a double bed, two large bedside cupboards, a wardrobe and dressing table, all in rustic pine, with the single bedrom having 2 single beds, one large bedside cupboard and a wardrobe.The bathroom has a bath with shower over, a hand-wash basin and WC.
 General information
Outside, there is a large south facing veranda area which has been extended to accommodate a table with umbrella and 4 patio chairs as well as a swinging hammock. For the younger guests there is a play table with 4 chairs, (some outside games and a rubber dinghy for the rockpool are available on request) A BBQ will be provided during the summer months.
All fuel and bed linen is included in the main price. A cot & high chair is also available for no extra charge. Parking is for one car with further car parking facilities by the reception area.
Limefitt Park offers facilities that surpass most national and international standards and include some outdoor activities such as pony trekking, cycle hire, golf, fishing and a host of water sports.
Limefitt Park is part of a larger group of leisure parks in the Lake District, and is only minutes away from White Cross Bay Marina, which is situated directly by Lake Windermere. It has a lovely A la carte Restaurant, a Beer Garden, a take away chip shop, heated indoor swimming pool, sauna and gym, as well as a tennis court, adventure play ground and wonderful woodland walks. As we are constantly seeking to improve our facilities we would like to offer FREE swimming passes to our guests from 2009 season onwards. Please ask for details when booking.
